Quality of Babi Guling here is sub-standard. Lacks taste and fragrance. Satay however was excellent.

Not recommended! first time to have lunch here. We ordered the baby guling @ 55k/ portion and pork leg soup 45k/portion The portion is quite small. The Babi guling meat is dry and not juicy at all, the pork leg was still cold and some are still frozen inside, pork satay was not tender at all. And not to mention that the pork skin look like it was deep fried. The sambal just so so. The Babi kecap was pretty good.

We were originally going to another babi Guling restaurant nearby, but they were closed. So we got stuck in an absolute downpour of rain at a nearby minimart, drinking beer for a while. We then saw that this restaurant was nearby so we decided to go despite the lower ratings. It was really delicious, restaurant was nearly completely empty, not sure why. We had the mixture of everything (basically a different mix of porks on one plate) along with an extra order of the sausage. There were so many different styles of pork, it was so tasty and varied. Also the chillies were so delicious, and had a nice spice to them. A spoonful of the light and tasty pork broth soup after each bite, helped cleanse the palette.

Honestly, im local and love rich flavour of suckling pig but this taste too light for me. If you like light taste of suckling pig, sote would be nice choice.
