Our first night on the island and found Roy's, thanks to Google Maps. Livens up only after 9pm when the band starts, on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. Great music and able to play any requests. Service ok but if you want a drink, quicker to order and collect at the bar. One of the few ( only?) late night festive places on the island...

What a great place. We dropped in (Aussies) to the front bar during monsoon rain and had one of the best nights.. .we were the only ones there!....emptied our wallets as the music was tight, the beer was flowing and the vibe and staff were amazing ....where else can you get the bartender singing ........a must see and experience if your in the area.

Best live music venue in Tuk Tuk, Samosir Island. Live band performs a mix of covers of rock, pop and blues songs plus local Batak songs. Sometimes they get a guest vocalist in. The band performs on Tuesday and Thursday but the big night is Saturday. Definitely worth dropping in if you are in Tuk Tuk. Good place to meet some locals or other travelers.
A good place to chill and experiemce a glimpse of Samosir / Tuk Tuk Diadong night life. The place held a live band performance on saturday starting at 21.30. - 23.00 The price of the drinks are quite a bargain, but do not expect a kick out of its cocktail.
