Had a great time here with a great crew of folks that run the camp and the island. Good vibes, fun times, Cool bamboo huts to stay in and a central chill zone where we ate and watched the surf. Wave out front is is legit left reeler and one of the more consistent waves and good winds in the ments. Shallow on the inside with a lot of power and barrels. A true gem on a beautiful island rich with shells and sealife . A much needed escape from the hectic modern world .

Scored such crazy waves!! Very consistent left streight in front!! Beautiful bungalows on land with a wild ocean veiw, Many other surf spots around, great vibes, epic people, good food!! Great time all round, stoked!!
Really cool setting there in the jungle with really cool designs for the bungalows and the restaurant area that blend in well match the natural habitat and vibe. Great view of the wave breaking in front and easy access to get out there. Food was great, service was great, waves were great.
Amazing. Really impressive what these folks have been able to accomplish on a number of fronts, construction, vibe...etc etc. Amazing craftmanship on the the huts and hang space. Spot itself is unreal. Lord of the Flies meets Apocalypse Now...with a world class left out front. Food was great, staff did an awesome job. Boat trips to other waves in the area if going left gets old. So much more than just a world class surf trip, and a world class surf trip it is. I'll be returning 100%.

The best surf camp in Mentawai! Cool bamboo houses, nice atmosphere, good food. The surf guide always ready to take you to surf and surf with you. Located right in front of Thunders, you can watch the surf as you're having breakfast/lunch/anytime. It's an awesome experience.
Went there just before season had started and ended up scoring the sickest waves. This place is so consistent. Vibes on the island are amazing, the eco lodge is super relaxing and homely. All round one of the best trips of my life
Loved it here! SMO is a quiet oasis with Thunders DIRECTLY in the front yard. Great waves, great crew. The bamboo bungalows were cosy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!
