can't believe there is such as permanent toilet here :D something looking weird in the 'wild' but anyway really useful, but anyway it's kind of losing the really nature feeling hh. i hope the toilets provide an eligible sewage treatment system. at least, the management install the grey & black water treatment to reduce, even avoid if can, the pollution here. i love the way waking up at early morning to see the calming fog flying between the hills and Ranukumbolo lake. hoping someday back there again!

Great place to easy your mind and soul. Only take 5-6 hours to get this place from ranupani. Once you see with your own eyes you will never forget this beautiful place

Your tiredness will be paid after you reach Ranu Kumbolo. It was so beautiful, so peaceful. It's a nice place for hiking, and don't worry for beginner because it's not so hard.

This is one of beautiful view in indonesia..too bad u can not swim or fishing in this lake..to all travellers who visit this place ..please bring your garbage back.. Keep this lovely mountain clean n fresh..I will give 5 star if i may swim in this lake..hehehe U must prepare yourself if u wanna reach the summit..it needs high efforts from you..u must commitment..because honestly it's so exhausted n drain your energy For a couple u should try to propose your mate here under the bright clear sky or under the magnificent stars.. So unforgettable moments if u do

Anchu Mansyur

The most popular camping ground in Mt. Semeru area. This place has a beautiful lake which consider as a sacred lake by Tengger people. Would takes around up to 5 hours to reach this place from basecamp Ranu Pane. Mostly quite crowded at weekend so kinda difficult to get a good spot to build a tent. The camping ground face to the east so when the sun is rise, the view is just magnificent.
