It is a really small airport, but it's pretty clean. Staff are friendly too. There are sometime stray dogs that they're trying to get rid of because it can be dangerous during take off. And they seem to aways be able to keep them away from the runway. There are a few food vendor here, but there aren't too many options so you can't be picky.

Letung Airport (IATA code: LMU) is an airport which built by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation in 2014. Letung Airport located in Jemaja Island, East Jemaja subdistric, Bukit Padi Village. Somehow it is a bit strange, the name of airport is "Letung" but physically not in Letung. The airport start operating in 2016 and commercial flights with ATR aircraft - Susi Air (for the first time) and now Wings Air. The airport was inaugurated by the Minister of Transportation at October 15, 2019. Letung Airport will continue to develop its facilities. Currently the runaway about 1,400 x 30 meters; 600 square meter terminal building. They still planned that the runway will be extended to 1,600 meters. The condition of the airport is dry because it is still under development. Some facilities in the airport are: waiting room, parking area, toilet, ticket counter and canteen.

Petugas sangat baik dan ramah serta sarana cukup baik.
Saya mendarat di bandara letung karena inilah koneksi ke kecamatan2 anambas lainnya spt ke matak dan tarempa. Bandara ini adalah bandara komersil milik pemkab Anambas. Pesawat yg mendarat adalah pesawat baling2 WINGS AIR. Dari sini nanti akan diantar menggunakan "angkot" istimewa krn menggunakan avanza, innova sampai fortuner hahaha. Sungguh penuh adventure jika anda kesini.
