This port was quite strategic, conected Tanjung Balai with any other islands in Riau islands region and also to another country such as Singapore or Malaysia. Sometimes during long holiday will very hectic and crowded. Difficult to find chairs in the waiting room. And sometimes the air conditioning not functioning well, a bit hot. But the good things is some improvement already taken. Now they have non smoking and smoking room. In the smoking room you can find some food and coffee seller. A bit nice to enjoy some local food and coffee while waiting your ferry. But for sure you must enjoy the smoke from all cigarette lovers there .

Small harbor, the building is old, but the facility is quite complete. The waiting room is air conditioned and quite cozy. The toilet is clean

the place where it is provided for passengers who want to board a ship that has not arrived at the port. not bad to see and enjoy. just for a short break from the window to the seat on the boat

The main port of Tanjung Balai karimun and Karimun regency, Riau island Province. Devide in to local port and international port. I hope they can improve the waiting room, because both of the waiting room are not very comfortable as so many people boarding at the same time in a rather small waiting room
