didn’t eat just had some drinks but it’s a cool spot. good location at the water palace, old open air rustic interior on the street with a funky classic bar area. staff very kind and has clean bathrooms. budi a waiter/head floor guy was really cool (been there 20 years) and hooked me up w some locally made incense. great place to take a break; highly recommended.

My favourite restaurant in Bali!! The food is great, great quality, the staff is really nice and if you want you can ask to eat on the tables on the floor (to be in an asian mood) just next to all the lotus. There is also a temple where you can have a look and make some pictures. I recommend the mi goreng and the shrimps spring rolls. AMAZING!!!!

The place is cozy and I can say that Lotus cafe is my happy place. I really enjoy my afternoon everytime I visit Ubud. You can enjoy the temple and lotus pond (if it's blossoms), but they need to step up the quality of their food. Sometime I think it's overpriced but can not complain, because you pay for the ambience also which is I like it so much

A good place for dinner, we went on a Saturday night and there was a shitshow right across from us. The ambience of the place was very pretty because you're in front of a lotus pond, especially if you I like to sit on the Balinese table instead of the regular chairs. The menu is Balinese options, we have some of the house teas, but it was delicious is not your Western type of tea. Prices are fair taking into account the service and atmosphere, but obviously a little bit more expensive than other places.

Location is good with a view of the lotus pond and shrine. Might even catch a free performance during dinner time. Service is good. Deco is acceptable. Food variety is a mix of western and indonesian with emphasis on western food. presentation is acceptable but taste of the dishes are slightly below average. We ordered the seafood set for 2 @ 498k. Fairly disappointed with the overall taste and quality of the produce. However the prawn and cucumber soup is quite good. Hard to ve able to return here for my meals in Ubud

Come early in the morning for breakfast. The breakfast is good especially the mee goreng!

Good food a bonus but the real highlight was the serenity of this cafe. In the heat & traffic the lotus is an oasis. The staff are particularly warm, efficient & attentive. Menu covers Indonesian specialities plus western. Alcohol, smoothies, fruit juice available to quench your thirst. There is typical restaurant seating available or you can sit on bamboo mats under cover from the sun alongside the Lotus Pond. Definitely a welcoming retreat from the heat, crowds & traffic.

Dropped in for a quick lunch while walking on the Jalan Raya street. The place has 2 seating options - the regular chair and table setting as well as by the lotus pond with folded legs. We ordered vegetarian food - potato fries, burritos and lasagna. Food tasted good, the portion size was on the smaller side though. Low on value for money but high on the views and location. Service was prompt. There are better options available in the vicinity.
