Might be good as long as you don't have problems. We booked in advance but the trip canceled because of the earthquake 2018. According to the terms and conditions, we're trying to get our money back. First we thought about a donation for these people, but nothing happend. All in all: We told our story again and again since 2 years but nothing happened until today and we are sick of it! High quality overall, warmhearted team. Every meal was freshly prepared and tasty. They bring all the rubbish back down, which isn't standard for other operators. Our guide called Andi is a fun, patient, respecting and also professional guide. Many thanks again. Yo, be kind to the porters and guides.

We had a great 3day 2night tour experience with green rinjani. Not the cheapest, but the service is 5star like!! You will get: welcome at there office, free hotel night before trekking, big tasty meals with lots of fruits, professional tour guide. Just one con: the drivers they use are not safe, they seem to think they are part of a formula 1 race. Safe drivers do exist in asia and Indonesia, so they should really improve this!

My friend and I picked Green Rinjani because of the review given by other trekkers and their commitment on the mountain environment. We are glad that we have chosen them because they were the only one picking the rubbish (not only our own obviously) but also the one left behind by other trekkers/porters. They are a bit more expensive than the others but for a simple reason, the pay their porters more if they bring down additional bags pf trash. Furthermore for any trekker joining their tour the plant a tree. The volcano trek is beautiful and challenging, top notch views. It is a pity that most of the other tours do not have the same eco approach... please if not Green Rinjiani choose one that consider the environmental issues. There is 3/4 companies among the over 50 taking care of keeping clean the vulcano trek.

Great experience with a well-equipped staff. Even though we could only do the 2 day hike - because of the earthquake in 2018 - it is an exhausting way up, but for the view definitely worth it. The staff was very friendly and food was amazing and diverse. During the night it gets cold - tents and sleeping bags were super clean and warm. In contrast to many other companies, green rinjani pays guides and porters fairly and bring down their waste and other trash people left on the mountain!

We did the 2 days 1 night Rinjani hike to the Senaru crater rim. It was a great adventure. Our guide Dhana was the best, he was very kind and helpfull. The porters were very friendly and the food was delicious. It was easy to communicate via Whatsapp. We recommend to do this trip with Green rinjani.
