Booked a class through airBnB experiences and it was amazing. We were picked up by wayan in the morning and visited a traditional market, where he introduced us to local ingredients. Next we went to his family's rice paddy where he also explained how Balinese farmers grow their food. Finally, we went to his family's compound where he taught us to make a variety of dishes, spices, and desserts. Throughout, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. The market locals seem to love him and he was also curious about ingredients in American food. The food we made under his guidance was phenomenal and his family was super kind. Highly recommend.

Had a brilliant time today! Can’t recommend enough, the family are so friendly and welcoming you really feel like you are cooking with friends. The market tour was great and we tried a few things whilst browsing! The dishes we made were delicious, we had so much food for lunch there! I’m really excited to make these traditional meals when I get home, so glad we got a copy of the recipes. they made it feel really simple and fun! One of the highlights of our trip to Bali.

Excellent cooking experience of Bali spicy dishes. We tried six recipes incl. dessert with the help of nice chef. Make us feel cooking is really an easy task. Father of Chef brought us to visit local dry and wet market, rice field before the class. No air conditioning in class, but didn't feel hot and humid, prehaps June is a good season to travel Bali. Class location is quite far from our hotel, it almost take 80 minutes ride from Seminyak.

GOWEZ BALI CYCLING TOUR

this cooking class! Superbly organised, fantastic staff and exceptional hosts. A nice sized group which enabled us to be very hands on over the course of the day. A great variety of dishes to cook and consume. Amazing value for money given it is a half day tour.
