Best massage ( with Tini ) ever in Bali and i come here for 8 times one month. Nice flower under the table, high end Massage Ole’s and we toke a shower after the massage ( we also go a towel. I will come back soon for sure!

We have been lucky to we casually found this place, to get in you leave your shoes at the entrance, the furniture and interior design are beautiful and make you feel so relaxed, there’s a pool with khoi fishes. To reach the spa there’s an amazing stair with flowers on every step. I did a balinese traditional massage and my wife a facial massage, excellent quality and treatment with an offer thè in the end.
I had a 30 min neck and shoulder massage here. I felt a bit uncomfortable in the beginning as there were only curtains so you can hear everyone and then the massage therapist was quite impatient and came in several times before I was ready and stared at me while changing. I told her to please go outside until I am finished. However she was very good and found the knots that I had that were causing my migrane. Maybe a bit on the rough side. So plus for the massage, but minus for the environment and service.
This was the worst massage of my life. I had such high hopes as the beautiful Clear Cafe was downstairs and I figured they would have the same standard at their spa, but I was so wrong. - Firstly, the towel they had at the head of the massage table was incredibly smelly - it was certainly not clean.. I ended up getting pimples on my jawline which I’ve never had before! - Secondly, the masseuse had very rough hands. I hate to say it, but it felt as though she had some kind of skin condition.. they were like sandpaper. Not pleasant as it just felt like getting massages by sandpaper! - Thirdly, there was no glass on the windows, so it was extremely hot and unfortunately there was some very loud machinery going on right next door as it was a construction site. - Lastly, the prices were advertised excluding service charge and tax. I’m used to this being the case at restaurants, but not at any spa I’ve been to in Bali.. so I was surprised at the bill. I was so bitterly disappointed and would warn anyone off going there.. awful!
We absolutely love Clear restaurant and so we were very disappointed when the massages we received at the spa were not very good :( The ladies also talked throughout our entire foot massage. No music, bright lights, very disappointing.
Don’t let the small spa area dissuade you. The 3h spa package which included facial, Balinese massage and manicure or pedicure was amazing! Even my husband thoroughly enjoyed it! Sumi was phenomenal in all areas as a massage therapist and aesthetician. If you go, ask for Sumi! Overall I am shocked with how affordable the package is for this high quality treatment. Will definitely come back when I am back in Ubud. Thank you Clear Spa!
