Batu Batu has now become one of my favourite stores with its immense collection of stones and crystals of all shapes, sizes and colours. A great store to be buying bits for DIY jewellery making and/or adding to collections. I really recommend buying your stones here to add to your piece if you decide to do a silver making workshop! Being of such good quality and for excellent prices, I couldn't resist getting a Mexican fire opal to be the centre of my silver ring piece! Opals becoming ever more expensive in the western world I couldn't leave ubud without buying a few for my family and friends; buying 4 pieces in less than 24 hours! The already made jewellery is versatile, there were many pieces I loved, so is likely to suit a vast audience! The staff were great also, friendly and informative. I am sure to visit Batu Batu next time I'm in Ubud to top up my collection and inspiration!

A friend referred this place to look for stone for her ring I made for her. I can truly tell you they have amazing selection of gemstones, cabochons, rough material. I ended up buying rough apatite and labradorite's. Some of the bigger crystal pieces from Brazil and Africa just stunning. Those are pricey but understandable as they came here from overseas. Very worth to visit, shop assistants are very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of what they selling!
Very good variety of crystals , I got what I wanted , prices are reasonable, it has a ground and a first floor with well displayed crystals.
