Went to 2 seafood restaurants and this was hands down the best one. All dishes were delicious. The staffs were attentive and friendly. Recommended!

Food was so so, alot of insects so be ready with all the repellent. You need to take a 5mins ferry to the kelong. Quite expensive for a meal with not much seafood.

if you can choose, it's better to choose another one. One staff (big lady) the service quality is very poor. Taste of foods very standard, I have tried eating in a some of places like Aneka, Cuyong, Family, and Tunteja Restaurant, they are much better.

Tourist trap. Don’t bother when anyone in the hotel offers this. Theres a boat ride to the restaurant which could be interesting but that’s all. Seafood wise, only the crab was fresh. Anything else wasn’t. If you think these chili or black pepper crabs are like the ones in Singapore or Malaysia, you’ll be disappointed. Most patrons are Chinese tourists and like me was referred by the hotel 3 or 6 stars one alike. When you dine there, they will ask which hotel you’re from; assume that’s how the kick back are tracked. Just stay away from here if you’re looking for good seafood at a good price. 4 dishes with one bottle of Bitan beer below 1,270,000 IDR, which is not cheap.

Our experience having dinner at the Kelong Mangrove was fantastic. We booked it through our hotel, Anmon, who organised transport there - a taxi and boat. The food was tasty, the staff super friendly and the whole experience of gliding through the mangroves to get there was great. We went at 5:30pm which meant we arrived when still light and got a lovely view. Sure, it’s not cheap or the most incredible food, but it definitely beats the dinner options in the Bintan resorts so if you’re here I’d certainly recommend.
