This restaurant is not serving fresh seafood to their customers. Cooking oil used over and over again. Prices were much higher than other kelong seafood. This place is a must avoid for all Singaporeans and foreign visitors. Steamed fish below was either not fresh or undercooked. Pointed that out to the Boss but he was very rude and refused to listen to us. Other customers were also complaining about his food however he mentioned that this is a first time he is hearing this. Walked away very disappointed. Do not come here to eat please at all! Check with your local guide to recommend other places.

A nice and affordable seafood restaurant. The place is setup on stilt and you have the unique experience of having your meal out in the ocean. The constant sea breeze is refreshing and the sea water is clear and not murky at all. The seafood are fresh as they are “fresh out of water”! They are prepared either steam with not much of seasoning and you can really taste the sweetness of the fish, crab and shells. Although the lunch is arranged by the tour guide, this is a good choice even if you are on your own.
Fresh sea food! So tasty and spicy as our wish. Worth for money and floating restaurant with waves.
3.5 stars. Price wise is OK and seafood is fresh but then too many mosquitoes and spoil the experience. Service wise could be better to install more fans.
You want fresh seafood? Come here. Might not taste the best, but fish is fresh. Caught a 1.2kg Garupa cost us 388,000 rupiah. Ordered another half kilo of prawns cooked with butter cost us 140,000 rupiah. Suggest that you want to eat freshness, stick to steam, Thai style / HK style / garlic only. Drinks in jug, 1 apple & watermelon jugs cost us 25,000 rupiah. Saw staff dumping leftovers into the Sea. Brought back memory of a previous trip to similar Kampung Kelong seafood place, they dumped baby diaper into the Sea too. Keep the fish fed? Yucks..
Wanted to go to Kopak Jaya but was recommended by our driver to come here instead. And it was one of our worst decision made. Food was terrible. Service was terrible. The whole looks dirty and old. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here to dine. Don't waste your time and money. Even if the driver recommend this place, don't go. They probably receive commission for every customer they bring in.
Good for a hangout with friends. Good scenery albeit further from city area. Prices reasonable
A long drive from the town center due to heavy traffic on the small road, the place looks great and backwards, so it feels like a kampong village with chicken roaming around. Place is big so it will be bad service if the place is full, otherwise, the people are friendly. The seafood ordered are fresh, no doubt, but the taste of chilli crab (more like sweet sauce with chilli), prawns and soup is not as nice, only the scallop taste good and the chicken, which is not seafood. So don't expect great tasting food at very cheap price, the price is more expensive than eating in Johor. Total time spent going there, eating and coming back, about 3 hours.
