If you have the chance to visit Bali, definitely visit the Bali Sea Turtle Society. You will need to follow them on facebook since they post their schedule there. You can only attend this at a certain time of day, and it's not every day, only when they have turtles available to release, so follow them on facebook for all of the latest news. I recommend you getting there 45 minutes early since it's 1st come 1st serve - they only release an x amount of turtles a day so to ensure you get a chance, you must go early. Once you get there, you will get a ticket which holds your place. Then they explain how they collect the eggs, how they help them hatch and how they release it. This is really a once in a lifetime experience and i love how much this organization is doing for the turtles

This place operates under non profit operation. They depends on donations to support their operations. We have the opportunity to participate the turtle release which is a great experience for the family. Thank you for providing us an educational learning experience while we are at Bali. It is best to visit the site to find out what time they will issues the turtle release token so that you can participate in this journey.
Definitely a must if your an animal lover or in the area. Really enjoyed releasing a baby sea turtle. That day 300 of them were released! Just keep an eye on their Facebook page as that’s where they announce it. It’s free, but of course you can donate. Tokens are given from 16:00, was a bit earlier in our case. They tell you how to release the baby turtle. So you get in line, get a baby sea turtle in a container with a bit of water and make your way to the beach. Everyone gets in line to get ready to start the sea turtle race. It’s so cute to see it.
Should be the no.1 thing to do here! Great place to see baby seats turtles hatching and experiencing water for the first time. You get to release them into the sea and watch as they swim off. Great knowledgeable people here who volunteer, so be sure to leave a donation or buy something from the shop to help out a great cause!
Fantastic thing to do and see in Kuta! We just missed out on collecting a ticket in order to help releasing the baby turtles but we watched and it was great to see.
Anyone thats struggling to find it, enter the beach at the gates just past Jamie Oliver's Italian at hard rock, turn left staying on the path and its 200 yards on the left at the giant turtle.
Amazing place! Recommended to every tourist who wants to get the full Bali experience! You can get a token for free most days in May-August which allows you to exchange it for a turtle. Everyone lines up on the beach and you get to watch the turtles released into the water. If you cannot make it in time or there isn't any releases on the day, you can watch the turtles get hatched in the big turtle!
