The main building of my almamater. One of my most favorite spots at UGM. This magnificent and historical building that was built more than 60 years ago and surrounded by shady trees is still used for many university affairs. The office of the university president/rector, senate hall, administration, public relations and protocol, and others.

A wonderful neo-colonial structure, this building houses the various offices of UGM as well as meeting and conference rooms! The wonderful grand staircase adds a majestic feel to it. The lobby with its columns are mesmerising. The inner court has a garden although I would prefer it to have more greeneries and have a better landscape plan. All in all, if you are an avid fan of neo-colonial (Dutch) architecture, visit the Central Building.

Most favorite spot for taking picture. Especially for graduation. With rows of pillars that are sturdy and beautiful.
