This mangrove water park is part of the vast Grand Maerokoco complex (a.k.a. Grand Maerakaca, formerly Puri Maerokoco) not far from Semarang's Tanjung Emas Harbour. It consists of a beautiful lake surrounded by a thick mangrove forest with an elegant white bridge. Water rides for families are available. I and my wife spent an hour hiking and rowing a small boat (I call it a love boat because it kept rocking). It was great. There are clean toilets and a large, clean mosque.

You want to escape from life and stresfull living? This is absolutely the one for you. Only 10 rupiah and you will get one package of entering the whole area of mangrove. This is located in Maerakaca near to Pantai Marina, Semarang. Green, fresh and calming. Very recommended to visit in Semarang.

One of recommended place to spend with family. It is nice place to visit to get some fresh air from the nature. You can just walk around the bridge or rent boat. Better to come at 5 PM so that its not really hot and the view also nicer when the sun sets. You will get many nice photo shoots here.

I was expecting a more challenging trekking to mangrove forest, but instead I got a "fun" walk among mangrove patches. But it provides a good start to raise awareness for young children. Few things to improve; information about mangroves itself (dude come on!), and A better, cleaner toilet

A must visit spot when you visit Grand Maerokoco in Semarang. Try to come early as not so many people around. The Mangrove trekking is just around 5 - 10 minutes walk. Nice view for relaxing side by side with canals. Here you can take many pictures as well as enjoying the view of canal with boats floating. The place can be so crowded during the sunset time. Clean area as well.
