I had an awesome experience with my guide - and now even my friend - Paulus in and from Tana Toraja. We have been to a funeral ceremony, where he explained the important details of the old tradition. He was keen to answer any question which might come to my mind. Then we have been on a two days trekking tour in the mountains. It was very nice as we walked through rice fields and Paulus taught me a lot about the local vegetation. Up in the village we stayed overnight in a Tongkonan and in the morning we were able to see the sunrise above the clouds. Overall, Paulus is an excellent tour guide, who has an excellent knowledge about Toraja and the surroundings. If you go with him you will have an awesome time!

What a great time here in Tana Toraja! Paulus is a great guide, showing me around in this beautiful area. We dived into this unique culture here when we went to a funeral ceremony and all these happenings around. I stayed 5 nights with his beautiful, always smiling family. It felt like coming home in the evening. Thx a lot for this amazing experience.

Great experience and discovery of the Toraja Culture and Landscapes with Paulus and Yuspan. We stayed for 3 days in Tana Toraja and we felt like we didnt miss a thing to see, funeral ceremonies, buffalo sacrifice, traditional graves, trekking and landscapes... Overall, we go back home with a little piece of Toraja people and culture in our hearts. Thank you Paulus and Yuspan !!
Estuvimos unos dias alojados en casa de Paulus con su preciosa familia. Una experiencia inolvidable compartir con ellos estos dias...no es la comodidad de un hotel, pero no cambiamos la experiencia por un hotel de 5 estrellas!Tambien Paulus es guia oficial, habla ingles muy bien, y te explica todo al detalle, siempre con respuestas a nuestras dudas.
