Daarul Hasanah Foundation was founded in 2010 with missions to provide supports and oversight to Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak (PSAA) Daarul Hasanah, an Islamic orphanage, located in Karawang, Jawa Barat - Indonesia. Daarul Hasanah Foundation commits itself to help and to develop a quality orphanage for disadvantaged children in Karawang area and its neighboring communities. The Foundation believes that through quality programs and supports it can help Indonesian government to ensure better future and life for those children who are in need and do not get family support to achieve their true potentials. PSAA Daarul Hasanah provides shelter, formal & non-formal education, life-skill programs, as well as religious activities for the children. We encourage them to study as high as they want. At this moment, our children are in elementary, junior high, senior high, and university level. Whatever it takes for them to break out from their limitations and to achieve success, personally & professionally, we are there to help them. PSAA Daarul Hasanah also supports the education of some children who are not staying in our dormitory, who are still with their parents but have no means to support their ongoing education. The Foundation encourages the neighboring communities as well as the general public who come across our path to know these children better, to understand where they are coming from and what possible for them, and to share opportunities with these children. We believe that we need to be together to make a better world for these and other children in needs.
