Elephant Mountain is a mountain located in Gongseng Village, Randudongkal District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province. Elephant Mountain is approximately 35 km from Pemalang City to the southwest. This mountain has an altitude of about 1,100 meters of DPL (above sea level), called Gunung Gajah because of its shape that resembles the figure of an Elephant. Residents around Gunung Gajah, namely Gongseng Village, are very friendly to every newcomer. Around the Elephant Mountain there are still many types of long-tailed macaques that will hang in the trees, in the morning and late afternoon even they will go down to the ground looking for leftovers from visitors who come to Mount Gajah.
