I had a really lovely experience with STD testing. Everything was explained very clearly, and the doctor and receptionist were both very kind and professional. It was all done quickly, Doctor even showed me the unopened needle to be sure I knew everything was sterile. Price is the best anywhere in Bali.

I come here in the last five years for STDs test. The staff is always friendly, non-judgemental and very informative. I came here this week for my routine HIV test. They use Alere HIV Combo for the HIV test. This method is pretty accurate and, CMIIW, able to detect the virus in your body within two weeks if after exposure. This is a rapid test and you can expect the result in less than 30 minutes. Apart from STD and STI tests, they also offer vaccination and PrEP. You can also grab free condoms on your way out.

I spent a lot of money because they charged me to do another test that I do not need. The doctor was not helpful and no manners at all. He did not explain me about things I asked. I went to another doctor and I was happy about everything. I am not satisfied with Bali Medika Clinic’s doctor. Update They are releasing my sensitive patient data and threatening me?? Stay AWAY!!! Will report to authorities!

The doctor with the earrings here is quite a rude little man to deal with, and gave the impression it was a the biggest possible inconvenience of his entire life to answer my questions. It felt like his sole purpose was to take my money and rush me out of his office as quickly as possible. He was incredibly reluctant to provide any help or recommendations post follow up. It felt like he didn't have a single care about my situation at all. I am not sure why he decided to become a doctor with such a lack of decorum or communication skills. In my experience, there are generally two types of doctors in this world. The first type are the passionate ones who really care about their patients and want to help you. These ones make you feel welcome and really listen to you and provide solutions to cure your ailments. Then, the second type, are the ones that became doctors purely as a financial/social decision and couldn't care less what happens to their patients as long as they get paid. Sadly it appears this little chap falls into the latter category. Ultimately when you are paying for services (and this money is used to pay for some of his salary) you would expect to be treated like a human being and not one of the numerous live chickens/aquatic fish that he strangely keeps all over the establishment. Update: The response from the team shows clearly how reckless the company is with patient details, actually posting an email chain with a customer and including the customers email address in a public response. They are happy to share confidential patient details with the public, would you really want to trust a doctor surgery who does this? The response in an attempt to vindicate their doctors horrible attitude is quite laughable. All issues in my review are related to the doctors horrible face to face attitude.

My girlfriend (local) and I think the information and service provided is very poor! The doctor is quite rude and demeaning to say the least if you ever ask a challenging question. He is not helpful and I have the feeling he doesn't like to do his job. YOU are just a patient, what do you know! All in a all a horrible face to face attitude, simply disrespectful. We went to check with a different doctor (Siloam hospital) and very happy we did that. UPDATE They are even posting super sensitive Data on Facebook about my girlfriend. The one oath doctors swear to they broke. This is utterly wrong!!! Especially when you threaten us to take down reviews!

I can't believe I had to pay 1200,000rp just to have coughing tablets. Reaching home my indonesian friends said am very stupid to pay all that money ....that the medicine they gave me is not up 200rp Am so disappointed

A great health clinic for gay men (and others) in Bali. The quality of care is at least as good as in Western Europe, and the doctor incredibly kind, reassuring and knowledgeable. A really important asset for gay men living and travelling in Asia.
