History The embryo of PT. Berikat Nusantara (Persero) or PT KBN (Persero) started when the Government of the Republic of Indonesia established PT. Yado Warehousing (Persero) in 1968. The company which occupied four hectares of land in Kampung Bandan, North Jakarta had a duty to manage the warehousing area as a gate or general entreport for import activities. Eight years later, the Government liquidated PT. Yado Warehousing and established PT. Bonded Warehouses Indonesia. The government wanted to develop a general entreport for import activities located at Tanjung Priok Nusantara Port. The name of KBN itself appeared on June 28, 1986. This is the date that becomes the anniversary of KBN. This company was established in line with the publication of the Government Regulation No. 23 of 1986. This regulation contains the formation of a new company as a the result of a merger of two State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) namely PT Bonded Warehouses Indonesia and PT. Sasana Bhanda. PT. Sasana Bhanda is a one-line warehousing company established in 1983 located in Cakung For more than two decades, PT. KBN (Persero) continues to grow in line with the dynamics of economic growth in Indonesia and the global economy. In addition, the company is also getting bigger thanks to the merger of other SOEs that were liquidated. The first merging process took place in 1990. Through the Government Regulation No. 31 of 1990, the Government liquidated PT Pusat Perkayuan Marunda (Persero) and merged the company with PT. KBN (Persero). Then in 1994 through the Government Regulation No. 38 of 1994, the government received the results of liquidation of PT. Management of Bonded Zone of Indonesia (Persero) (PKBI) and incorporated it in PT. KBN (Persero). Various mergers process were certainly provide a variety of colors. Since then the shareholders of PT. KBN (Persero) consists of Central Government and Local Government of DKI Jakarta Province.
