The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia was established in 2007 as a networking organization that unite interfaith women and youth to create and strengthen trust and cooperation for the future. Women School for Peace is a community-wide movement capable of transforming 1000 female leaders who are able to engage in decision making both at the family and community level through organizing. The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia is also actively involved in the development process through the drafting of the National Action Plan and the Local Action Plan on the Protection and Empowerment of Women and Children under Social Conflict. At a global level, AMAN Indonesia with its core knowledge has been recognized as an active member of the Asia Pacific Women's Alliance for Peace and Security, the International Civil Society Network (ICAN-WASL), the Global Network for Women and Peace Building (GNWP) and the Women Waging Peace (Inclusive Security). The progressive movement of The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia to create a culture of religiosity that reflects both gender jusctice and nonviolent can be realized through the inclusive values of religious life that promote gender justice and peace building by continuing to improve the leadership capacity and women's organizations at the grassroots level to take a strategic role in the public domain as an agent of change. This movement should also encourage and facilitate the regeneration of Women School for Peace that has the qualities to take up strategic roles in the public domain. This movement is also strengthened by the progressive consolidation of social justice at local, national and global levels through policy advocacy that promotes gender justice and nonviolent
