one way to Tirta empul or gunung Kawi temple you can find tradisional market. this market for balinese people to buy all the food and ceremony equipment. but uportunately difficult to talk with the seller because not much people can't speak English. but nice place for find place to see local market with out tourist.

Hmmm what can I say. A typical Asian market. The assault on the senses was strong I wish they wouldn't leave so much plastic lying around to wash out to sea. I guess it's going to take a huge shift in people's thinking

i joined a cooking class, visiting the local market is part of the program, the vendors here all are friendly,they chatted with me, brought me back to the old times, very traditional way of living, unlike modern supermarket , visiting a traditional market is the way to know local culture and life, worth a visit.
