I had heard good things about Pica for a while and wanted to try for the longest time. I reserved and asked about the tasting menu, they’d said that prior to Covid Era they offered a degustation menu which they’d scrapped for a while now, but if I wanted to they could still ask the kitchen to make me a tasting menu. Because this would’ve been my 1st time, I was grateful that they were willing to make an exception for me. The tasting menu consists of 8 courses. Starting with 3 courses of very light dishes that tasted very fresh and definitely whet my appetite for more. The ceviche was so fresh and generous in portion. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and paired well with the quinoa & chimmicuri sauce. The rest of the courses were not as memorable as the first 3 but they tasted good. The seafood in clam juice was simple and comforting. The pollo was very tender and though the fried rice it was paired with was not my favorite. Closed it out with chocolate cake that was just the right balance of sweet and bitter. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. The pace of the tasting menu got slower and slower as we went which probably didn’t help because we were tired and got sleepier as the night went on, but since we were the only table having the tasting menu, I completely understand. I’d definitely go back again.

Great food, truly good. The only issue is that their peruvian food felt more like their interpretation of peruvian food rather than true peruvian cuisine. Still highly recommended

The BBQ prawns are unreal.. A must-try as an appetizer if you're into shellfish. I haven't had a truly memorable food experience in a while, and this was absolutely it Had the Peruvian chicken as a main, and while it doesn't compare to the Peruvian rotisserie chickens that im used to which are typically accompanied by ají sauce and tacu tacu, is still very, very good. The meat itself was juicy all the way through unlike most restaurants where it comes out partly dry. Prices are fairly above average for Bali but you certainly get what you pay for. Overall a fantastic non-vegetarian option in Ubud and one of the better culinary experiences I've had in Bali. Lovely staff and attentive service to boot, and a cozy streetside ambiance. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended.. It was hard to book a table even during this pandemic time. Will definitely be back.

We came to Pica 3 weeks ago with few friends. Not that big but love the place staff so friendly and recommend some food plus ask us if we would like to share or not Anyway, we order pork belly and chicken breast ( really sorry if I forgot the name of the food ) with broccoli for side dish. The portion so big and satisfied !! Love and keep the good work, will see you for the next visit ️

Had a great dinner here while in Ubud. The Ceviche was fresh with great flavours, pork belly is a must and the mash with jus was amazing.
