This is the biggest library I have ever seen!! I like to visit this place whenever I need to find some book collection with specific genre and have some cozy space to read it. Every floor has different section, so make sure to look up the information correctly or ask the officer on the second floor and you won't get lost. Member card is required to access facilities including e-Resources. If you are a first-time visitor and don't have one, you can get it also on second floor by showing your ID card for Indonesians or KITAS for foreigners. Other plus point I have to highlight from this place is an Elderly and Disabled People Room on seventh floor that provides collection of braille books and special computers for people with disabilities. Public facilities are well provided here. Toilets are accessible on every floor, Muslims who wish to perform their prayers can find a prayer room on the sixth floor. A canteen is also provided on seventh floor. There is an exhibition before entering the library where you can find historical or futuristic objects.

The cozy and best place for you to take a break from this hectic life. You can enjoy this national library for FREE! Or I can say, if you want to read a book and improve your knowledge, it's FREE on National Library of The Republic of Indonesia.

Located in the middle of Jakarta (near Monas), the building is very large and interesting, except the fact that inside of the building there is no 13 floor, so after 12, 12A, and 14 (if Im not wrong). There is also elevator inside, a place for eat like mini restaurant, restroom, rooftop, and a place to make the member of the library which is very sophisticated because we enter our data in the computer provided, and when we finish, we just need to take photo helped by the employe and they will print out our member card. The last time I visited this place, borrowing book is prohibited, but I dont know if this time.

A really nice place for introverts for sure! Comfortable for doing assignments and reading books. Every floor has a different section and has different rules so it's important to read the signs carefully. It might be confusing for some people at first but fortunately the staffs are helpful. Before entering the library, there's some kind of exhibition/museum(?) in a small building that we should pass. Entering the library, we can choose to put our stuff in the locker room. Also it's better for us to become a member first so we can access all facilities. This library also has a cafe, a prayer room, and the toilets can be found almost in every floor. My favorite section is the lounge on the 24th floor where it's really cozy to chill while looking at the city view around.

Still bustling with visitors even in the midst of a pandemic, the library have a great collection after all. They have a great covid protocol, and always be mindful to maintain physical distancing.
